Pauline Latham OBE was elected as the Member of Parliament for Mid Derbyshire in 2010 and re-elected in May 2015. She has lived in Derbyshire since 1970, and has been involved in local politics in the area since 1987. For many years, Pauline was a dedicated and popular councillor, representing Oakwood on Derbyshire County Council, then Derby City Council and later became the Mayor of Derby.

Amanda was selected to stand for the Conservatives in Derby North in 2013, and on May 7 2015 she was elected as the first female MP for Derby North. Amanda is Derby through-and-through, and has lived in the city for over 20 years. She is a businesswoman, school governor and is an active community volunteer and will continue to maintain these roles alongside her position as MP.
